DMCA and copyright policy
TVHammer respects the rights of content creators and rights holders. This page sets out how to notify us of an alleged infringement, how counter-notifications are handled, and what happens to accounts subject to repeat notices.
Last updated: 1 January 2026 · Applies to all TVHammer subscriptions delivered in Australia.
1. Our content licensing position
TVHammer operates as a reseller of IPTV subscription services and does not host, store or originate the content delivered through the service. Channels and video-on-demand titles are sourced from upstream content providers and distributors. We are committed to operating in a manner that respects the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent legislation wherever it applies.
2. Reporting copyright infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an authorised agent and believe that material accessible through tvhammer.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated agent.
Your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work. A description of the work you claim has been infringed. Where multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the infringing material. The specific URLs or enough information for us to locate the material.
- Your contact information. Full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A good faith statement that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- An accuracy statement confirming that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.
- Your signature, physical or electronic.
Send the notice to [email protected] with the subject line Copyright Takedown Notice — tvhammer.com.
We acknowledge valid notices within 5 business days and take appropriate action, which may include disabling access to the material and notifying the relevant upstream provider.
3. Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled through mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to [email protected] containing:
- Identification of the removed material, including its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information — full name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Consent to jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and agreement to accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice.
- Your signature, physical or electronic.
On receipt of a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material at our discretion.
4. Repeat infringer policy
- Accounts that are the subject of multiple valid infringement notices are reviewed.
- TVHammer reserves the right to terminate the subscription of any user determined to be a repeat infringer.
- Termination for repeat infringement does not entitle the user to a refund under our refund policy.
5. Misuse of the takedown process
Filing a false takedown notice is a serious legal matter. Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent Australian provisions, a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
6. Relationship to our other policies
This policy operates alongside our terms and conditions, which prohibit re-streaming, redistribution and any commercial use of a personal subscription.
